The Custom Ring Process

Let’s Talk

Meet in person at our Saint Louis showroom or begin the conversation virtually. Bring your vision, your questions, and any inspiration, such as a sketch, a stone, or a favorite setting. We’ll take time to understand your story and what matters most.

Design & Details

We explore options together, from metal color (white gold, yellow gold, or rose gold) to stone type (natural, lab-grown, or colored gemstones like blue sapphire engagement rings). Whether you love an emerald cut, asscher, marquise, hidden halo, or a bezel setting, we’ll refine the design until it’s just right.

CAD & Review

Next, we turn your idea into a CAD rendering. This is where you’ll see your custom engagement ring come to life, from the shape of the prongs to the taper of the shank. You’ll have the chance to make changes before we begin production.

4.

Handcrafted In-House

Your ring is crafted entirely in our St. Louis studio by our in-house bench jewelers. With attention to detail and old-world craftsmanship, each center stone is carefully set and finished.

We’ll keep you updated throughout the process, so you can feel confident and connected at every step.

5.

The Reveal

The finished ring is yours to try on, admire, and treasure. Sizing, warranty, and documentation (including GIA certifications for diamond engagement rings) are all handled with care.

How long does the custom design process take?

Most rings take 4 to 8 weeks from initial consultation to completion, depending on ring design complexity and stone sourcing.

Do I have to know exactly what I want before booking an appointment?

Not at all. Many of our clients come in with just a general idea or a few photos. We’re here to guide you.

What if I already have a stone?

Great! We can design around your own center stone or family heirloom.

Can you create vintage-inspired or unique engagement rings?

Absolutely. From antique halo styles to modern bezel designs, our jewelers specialize in translating your vision into something beautifully wearable.

Do you offer resizing?

Yes, we offer complimentary resizing on eligible pieces. We’ll review all ring sizing and policies at checkout.

Do your diamonds come with certifications?

Yes. All of our custom diamond rings include certification, typically from GIA or a comparable grading authority.

What metals and engagement ring styles do you offer?

We offer custom engagement rings in different carats, such as 14k and 18k gold (white, yellow, and rose). We also offer platinum metal as well as a wide range of engagement ring settings, including prong, pave, bezel, three stone, solitaire, and more.
