Returns & Exchanges
Due to the individual craftsmanship involved in every piece produced in our St. Louis-based studio, Adam Foster Fine Jewelry does not accept returns. We will, however, gladly accept exchanges that comply with the guidelines listed below. Exchange requests that fall outside of the guidelines may be rejected by Adam Foster Fine Jewelry.
Exchange Period & Process
Merchandise purchased on the website may be exchanged. The package containing the merchandise to be exchanged must be deposited with the shipper within seven (7) days of receipt of the merchandise.
If you wish to exchange merchandise, please call: 314-771-3390 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org first to place an exchange request. Adam Foster Fine Jewelry will send a shipping label to you. The shipping label is only valid on the date listed on the label.
In addition to the merchandise, please include the original box and all items and documents included when the merchandise was received. All shipments must be double-boxed using new, unused FedEx shipping boxes. For example, the merchandise must be placed in its original box, inside a FedEx medium box, inside a FedEx large box. Seal the package and affix the label. It can be dropped off at any staffed FedEx location (no drop boxes, please). If you prefer to have FedEx pick-up at a location, the package must be scanned into the FedEx system before the driver leaves the place of pick-up. Please note:
- You must obtain and keep your receipt
- You also must keep proof of return shipment
Adam Foster Fine Jewelry accepts no liability if you are unable to produce proof of the return shipment. Only merchandise received by Adam Foster Fine Jewelry will be eligible for exchange. Once the merchandise is received, Adam Foster Fine Jewelry will examine the merchandise and verify that it satisfies the standards of the exchange policy.
Standards to Exchange Merchandise
Adam Foster Fine Jewelry products must be returned unused, in perfect condition. All protective materials need to be in place, with tags and stickers attached. Adam Foster Fine Jewelry will not accept for exchange any merchandise that has signs of wear or has been used or altered in any way.
In addition, Adam Foster Fine Jewelry will not accept any exchanges on custom / special orders, or sized, altered or engraved pieces.
All exchanges are subject to review to ensure that the merchandise meets Adam Foster Fine Jewelry’s standards. If the merchandise does not meet the standards outlined in the exchange process, Adam Foster Fine Jewelry will refuse the exchange and the merchandise will be returned to the customer.
If the merchandise is eligible for a credit, Adam Foster Fine Jewelry will issue a merchandise credit to the customer. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from the original amount paid by the customer before a credit is issued. Merchandise credits are only valid for sixty (60) days. Credits can be used towards items on the website or in Adam Foster Fine Jewelry’s St. Louis-based showroom.
