Adam

Founder & Chief Creative / Designer

My love of beautiful craftsmanship in architecture and art was inspired by a family trip to Italy as a young child. This inspiration translated into my passion for creating exquisitely designed fine jewelry that’s also functional and fun to wear.

I pair Old-World jewelry making techniques with the latest in technology to create pieces that present a modern sensibility and are easy to wear every day. I believe all jewelry should reflect the wearer and their lifestyle. Jewelry pieces that are tucked away and never worn don’t provide any enjoyment.

I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in metalsmithing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before returning to my hometown of St. Louis and opening Adam Foster Fine Jewelry. In addition to working extensively with diamonds, I also love to design using colored gemstones. When I’m not creating jewelry, I enjoy cooking, gardening and building and creating things other than jewelry.
