This ring was designed to feel different from the start. Between the kite diamond shape, the smoky natural stone, the thick gold band, and the platinum edges lined with accent diamonds, it has a much more graphic and architectural presence than a traditional solitaire.

A salt and pepper diamond contains a mix of dark carbon inclusions and lighter inclusions throughout the stone. Instead of appearing perfectly clear, the diamond develops a speckled, misty appearance that many people compare to smoke, stars, or tiny flecks of sea salt and black pepper scattered throughout the stone.
